A lot of things can be said about my sister. First, she can be funny. I’m talking about can’t stop laughing funny. At the same time, she can be super annoying, as can all siblings. All that aside, I am here to tell you about all the funny parts I remember so far that she caused. My sister is a joy…when she isn’t a pain. Just kidding, I love her. Anyway, I hope you read these funny events and laugh. Enjoy!
l. Questions and Answers
My parents asked this same question to me years ago. I answered correctly, India of course. They then asked her the question.
“Saranya kutti, where were you born?”
“Uh…Mexico?”
My parents laughed. They then asked her this.
“Okay, Saranya chellam, what is your mother tongue?”
“…………pink?”
They explained what the real answer was.
ll. Dhoti
One day, my Appa came in wearing a dhoti. My sister didn’t know what it was so she asked.
“Appa ,why are you wearing a skirt?”
lll. Tamil Singing
One day, Amma and Appa were arguing. After they became silent, you could still tell that there was tension in the air. Just then Saranya began to sing:
“Adi Paaaviii….Adi Paaaviii….”
That made Amma and Appa laugh.
lV. Anniyan
We were in India when Amma wanted to go see the new movie Anniyan. She told us “Ok Shree, Saranya, I am going to be gone for a few hours. I’m going to go see a movie.”
“What movie?” I asked.
“Anniyan.”
“ONION?!” said Saranya. “Why would you want to see a movie about onions Amma?”
Amma explained to Saranya that she said Anniyan and not Onion.
